Benefits and Funding

The AEGD Program at NSU does not offer stipend.

Tuition

AEGD residents are not subject to tuition charges. However, student activity, registration, copy and graduation fees are incurred.

Benefits

Professional liability insurance for all residents is provided by the University. Student health care insurance is available for purchase. All residents must provide proof of health insurance. Coverage for spouse and/or children is also available. Residents are allowed to attend most of NSU's continuing education courses for a fee of $35/seminar course. Residents will also be able to attend hands on courses if the course is not filled to capacity and the tuition will be determined depending on each course.

Required Resident Equipment

All residents must purchase a digital camera that is capable of taking high quality intraoral pictures. All other equipment and instruments are provided by the program.
