Tanya Farfan, RDH, BSDH is the Director of Dental Hygiene at CDM-NSU. She is a 1998 graduate of the University of Maryland, Baltimore School of Dentistry Dental Hygiene program. Prior to her present role, Mrs. Farfan served as an adjunct lecture and clinical instructor at CDM-NSU aw well as Sanford Brown College, Ft. Lauderdale and practiced in private practice in the Baltimore-Washington, DC area. Mrs. Farfan currently sees patients in a family practice in Weston, where she lives with her husband and children. Her interests within dentistry include the oral microbiome and alternative/non-pharmaceutical treatment and prevention methods for oral diseases. Outside of dentistry she studies nutritional science, functional wellness, and herbal therapy and enjoys all things holistic and esoteric.
